Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Dr. Angel Sanchez Jr. grew up in a family deeply rooted in dentistry. As the son of two dental specialists practicing in the Houston area, he was introduced to the profession at an early age. While people often say that dentistry runs in the family, Dr. Sanchez believes his passion for dentistry grew from watching his parents care for their patients and witnessing the gratitude and confidence they inspired.
Dr. Sanchez attended Clear Creek High School in League City, Texas. Immediately after graduating, he began his dental education at the Universidad de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico, where he earned his dental degree and license.
Following dental school, Dr. Sanchez dedicated a year to community service, providing dental care to underserved and low-income communities in the Monterrey area. This experience strengthened his commitment to making quality dental care accessible and reinforced the importance of treating every patient with compassion and respect.
Upon returning to the United States, Dr. Sanchez pursued advanced specialty training at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed a three-year residency in prosthodontics, earning a certificate in Advanced Education in Prosthodontics and developing specialized expertise in dental implant placement and restoration, crown and bridge dentistry, removable and fixed prosthodontics, and esthetic treatments, including traditional, minimal-preparation, and no-preparation porcelain veneers. His advanced training allows him to approach complex restorative cases with a comprehensive understanding of both function and aesthetics.
Today, Dr. Sanchez combines his passion for dentistry with advanced clinical training to help patients restore their smiles, function, and confidence. His approach emphasizes personalized treatment planning, precision, and attention to detail, with the goal of delivering beautiful, functional, and lasting results.
